Andy sets about training civilian deminers

It is impossible to handle a task of this size alone and without passing on information, skills and capacity regarding mining and disposal of unexploded ordnance.

In the area around Kiev, Andy has therefore started training the local deminers who are affiliated with the Ukrainian Demining Association (UDA). The collaboration expands our permits, approvals and accreditation within the area in Ukraine.

The idea is that they will then be part of a clearing team which is intended to be able to work independently in the long term.

Our focus is not to take over major projects or tasks from the Armed Forces and the Police, but to be close to the citizens with support for ordinary Ukrainians in areas where especially curious children are possible victims.
