Bevar Ukraine (Save Ukraine in Danish) is an association mainly consisting of Ukrainians living in Denmark. They have worked purposefully to provide support to Ukraine since the war broke out in 2014. However, the size and pressure on their organization has increased dramatically since February this year.

Our focus in DSGU has always been to contribute to an efficient allocation of the resources that are sent to Ukraine, and therefore good coordination with all NGOs is essential. For that reason, we have also been in contact with Bevar Ukraine for a long time, and here too it made sense to discuss opportunities with them.

In this particular case, Bevar Ukraine has helped us with contact with Emergency services and Ukrainian authorities to facilitate an initial invitation into the country.
